I CRIED THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED A STORY-DRIVEN WEDDING FILM, AND KNEW THIS IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO.
Hi, I’m Spencer, and I believe films and photographs have the innate ability to transport you back to a specific feeling.
I have a background in film production in the entertainment industry, but the first time I saw a story-driven wedding film, everything changed. I dove into it full-on and haven’t looked back. I truly believe this is what God has called me to do, and I love every aspect of it wholeheartedly.
This calling snuck up on me, and life has never been the same since, it’s so much better. I think love is a lot like that, too. It draws you in, and all the sudden, life is substantially better, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
My philosophy:
I believe that on your wedding day, nothing from your past matters, not the baggage you’ve carried nor the mistakes you’ve made because you’re going through a revival together. And your future is going to be so much brighter because no matter what you face, you’ll face it together.
I strive to capture the little moments that go unnoticed while you’re living in the one right in front of you.
It’s the moments you don’t see, like the emotions stirring as your mom zips up your dress, or your bridal party watching your first look from the distance, that you’ll be able to see for the first time on film.
It’s also the big moments when you’re reading your vows while looking into your partner’s tear-filled eyes—these moments, and all the moments in between, only happen once, and they’re the ones you’ll want to carry with you through life.
What I’ve learned is we’re never promised tomorrow, and videography and photography allows you to capture moments with the people in your life who matter most. These are the tangible items from your wedding day that you’ll pass down to future generations, and that’s what makes this job so incredibly special.
It’s why I take so much time to get to know you, hear your stories, and grow a relationship before your wedding day so that I can create a powerful, meaningful story that reflects your love accurately. And, the more comfortable you are, the less it feels like I’m there, and that's when the magic unfolds.
